Meet Dr. Jill
Dr. Jill C Slutak is a Rutgers University Alum and graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York with her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Advancing her expertise in the field of nutrition, Dr. Jill has also obtained her Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition.
Dr. Jill has been practicing chiropractic for the past 9+ years at a high-volume family practice in Limerick, PA. She is excited at the opportunity to serve the Harrisburg community to promote true health and wellness. She plans on relocating to the Harrisburg area and getting even more involved in the community. She is already actively involved in the Kiwanis Club of Harrisburg.
Dr. Jill was exposed to chiropractic at an early age and grew up with a chiropractor in her family. She credits her Uncle Arnold with her strong chiropractic foundation and belief for health without medication and drugs. As a child she went to Uncle Arnold to get adjusted if she had a cold, fell on the playground or simply to get checked and stay healthy.
Dr. Jill has continued this philosophy and loves to treat the whole family, from baby to Grandpa!
Dr. Jill loves to work with pregnant women and children, especially. She has completed her certification from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice’s Council on Chiropractic Pediatric, so she can better serve the families of her community.
There are many different chiropractic techniques used to adjust the body and every body is different. Dr. Jill has studied different techniques including: Diversified, Activator, Thompson Drop and Cox-Flexion Distraction. She has completed her proficiency rating in the Activator Methods, a technique which utilizes a hand held instrument for the delivery of chiropractic adjustment.
Dr. Jill is also certified in the Webster technique. The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic sacral adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. The Webster Technique is used in the care of pregnant women and may help alleviate the possibility of a difficult labor for the mother.
Dr. Jill also loves animals and can often be spotted at the neighborhood parks going for a walk or jog with her dog, Bean.

"I suffered from Migraines 3-4 times a week. My upper and lower back pain caused loss of sleep and made it difficult to lift my kids. Since Chiropractic care, my migraines have reduced drastically. Also, back pain and fluid of motion are 70% better. At Slutak Chiropractic, they are very kind and flexible. They put you at ease, and anywhere my children are treated with kindness and respect, makes my day."
"I was experiencing pain in my lower back, right shoulder, and both knees. All of the pain was severe, but the most persistent was the pain and discomfort in my right shoulder. After one (the first) adjustment, I could feel a dramatic reduction in the shoulder pain. My pain after three visits was greatly diminished, especially in the right shoulder. There is a sincere caring and concern for each patient."
